Before the first breath, there was water ; home to the infinitely small, where life began, long before us. La Mer(e) displayed an art-science dialogue with the ocean's oldest archives — phytoplankton, coral reefs, pigment and calcite — through an transdisciplinary exploration rooted in the Mediterranean Sea and the Sorbonne Université Oceanographic Station in Banyuls-sur-Mer.
