With an MBA in International Art Market and a background in visual arts and philosophy, María Camila Cifuentes works at the intersection of art, culture, and production, with a strong focus on socially engaged and context-based projects. Her practice brings together visual arts, curatorial development, and cultural production, with experience in exhibitions, multidisciplinary initiatives, on-site workshops, and inclusive collaborative formats across diverse territories.
She develops and implements cultural projects rooted in local contexts while building international dialogues that actively deconstruct conventional hierarchies and frameworks. Operating from decolonial perspectives, she supports the recognition of popular and peripheral territories and contributes to the decentralisation of artistic circulation and discourse within the contemporary art field.
